The Pinehurst Portal started out as a Facebook page for owners, landlords and agents to advertise their Pinehurst properties. From there it grew into a larger concept. We have also added a business & service directory.

We get this question a lot: “Why did you start the Pinehurst Property Portal Page? Posting is free, so how do you make money?”

As Pinehurst residents since 2003, we really love our little neck of the woods and want to make sure that those looking specifically for Pinehurst properties, can find it on one spot and that those advertising properties for sale or to let, have a designated spot to place their listings without it disappearing on community Facebook group feeds as new posts are placed.

We make sure that the property is actually in Pinehurst before placing the listing on our page – and yes there are chancers who market their properties in other suburbs as Pinehurst properties.

We do not charge to place any Pinehurst property listings, because we want to help with the responsible marketing of properties. This service is open to agents and residents alike. We just ask that you stick to the post requirements.

This means no essays – just the quick basic info, your link, and photos. We do frequent follower and resident surveys and consistently our research has shown that followers want to see the basic listing information and images or a video. From there they are happy to navigate to the listed website and contact the agent/ landlord/ seller directly, as the case may be. We are not paid referral fees for listings or leads. We do not share personal information or mandate information. We like to keep things simple.

We really do try and keep the advertising noise to a minimum in terms of service providers and agencies wanting to advertise. We prefer quality over quantity.
